Save Map Image Tool |
An easy way to export your current view as an image (JPG) is by using the save map image tool. This tool is located on the left beside the navigation controls and is represented by a disk icon
.
Once you have zoomed into your desired location, added any drawings (optional) simply click the disk icon and you will be presented with a dialog to save the image to your local computer.
The image returned to you is in the JPG format that you can later import into a document, add to an email or just archive away for later use.
TIP: Rename the saved image to something that represents its current view (i.e. MyHome.jpg) so it will be easily identifiable at a later date on your file system.
