Map Legend Tool |
The map legend is useful tool when viewing operational layers (You can learn more about operational layers in the Showing and Hiding Layers tutorial). When an operational layer is turned on and you are unsure about the symbology being used to display the given feature you are interested in, you can easily open the map legend to help learn about what is identifying that specific feature on the map. See Figure 1 for a sample identifying the operational layers turned on.
